|Date: Runs throughout February|
|Exhibition launches February 7th at 6pm. All welcome|
I am delighted to be associated with the Carnegie Arts Centre in exhibiting some of my favourite photographs during the month of February and invite everyone to call there to view the collection. All proceeds from the sale of any prints will be donated to the Carnegie in support of its endeavours.
I have been interested in photography ever since I learned as a teenager how to develop black and white negatives and prints. After my first visit to Ireland in 1985, my passion for photographing the amazing images and landscapes of Ireland grows stronger every year. When I now visit family in my native home of Boston, I relish the opportunity to capture the unique character of that city and the surrounding countryside of New England. Indeed, my favourite time of year to take photos there is during the fall months when the landscape is ablaze with brilliant colours.
I have had several photographs featured in the book “Lift the Latch” as well as in the “Love Lauragh” 2017 calendar. I have also been a member of the former Kenmare Camera Club and have displayed various photographs as part of the Club’s exhibitions in the Kenmare Library and the Kenmare Credit Union.
All are welcome to attend the launch of the exhibition to see the world Through My Eyes and for a chat and some refreshments on the 7th of February at 6 pm.
