‘Women of Note’ celebrates the music of epic female performers down through the years. The audience will enjoy the songs of artists from Peggy Lee to Billie Eilish, Whitney Heuston to Lady Gaga, and Kerry’s own Jessie Buckley. Hear their songs, their stories and learn about the impact they have made. The show features singer/producer Grace Foley (as seen on RTE’s ‘Last Singer Standing’), pianist Noel O Sullivan and narrator, Laura Reidy.
Grace Foley is a classical crossover singer from Killarney in County Kerry. She began vocal training at the age of 14 and went on to study at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. In 2018 Grace released her E.P. ‘Unleashed’, which became a ‘Marty Recommends’ by Marty Whelan on RTE Lyric FM. Grace toured Ireland in 2019 in venues such as the National Concert Hall, the INEC and the Whale Theatre. Grace plans to tour around Ireland and the UK in 2023 and has just finished recording volume 2 of her Christmas E.P., which will be released in late November of this year.
