In celebration of the month-long festival of ‘Bealtaine,’ we are screening ‘The Field,’ a film based on a play by John B. Keane.
Admission is free. Everyone is welcome. Complementary tea and coffee available from 7.30pm onwards.
When a field (which has been farmed by the McCabe family for generations) goes up for auction, the patriarch of the McCabe family will stop at nothing to prevent a rich American from buying it. Released in 1990. Directed by Jim Sheridan and starring Richard Harris.
