Carnegie Arts Theatre with the kind permission of series producers, Animo TV, are delighted to screen episodes 3 & 4 of “Falling for a Dancer”.  The series was filmed on the Beara Peninsula and Kenmare . Based on a novel by Deidre Purcell and the series was first shown on BBC1 in September 1998.

The final 2 episodes follows Elizabeth through this marriage and her new life in West Cork. It is here Elizabeth has her baby but her choice of marriage has its darker side. Resentment from her step children, moments of tragedy and a longing for young love and a passion that she does not get from her husband Neely.
