Joni Mitchell & Me featuring Liz Scattergood
Kerry-based singer Liz Scattergood brings to the Carnegie an infectious passion for the music of arguably the greatest and most influential songwriter of her lifetime.
Through a selection of Joni’s material spanning 4 decades she weaves a few of her own delightful songs along with insights into Joni’s life and music, and how they have had such a powerful impact on Liz’s musical and personal life.
Liz’s spellbinding voice and guitar playing are backed by her multi-instrumentalist husband Andrew ‘Skatz’ Scattergood on piano, guitar, percussion and vocals, himself no stranger to the Carnegie having starred in several performances here.
Having performed Joni’s songs for many years in the UK, and for three much anticipated repeat performances down the road in Waterville since moving to Kerry, Liz is delighted to be appearing at The Carnegie.
All profits from this concert go towards multisensory equipment and materials for Innabubble’s unique sensory puppet adventure ‘The Mergle’s Tale’ for people with intellectual disabilities or dementia, and young children. This inspiring, stimulating and unique show will be on at The Carnegie too (See our website for details, or go to www.innabubble.com)
