Following on from our meeting at the Carnegie last week, it has been decided to offer a ‘Taster Workshop’ to allow interested parties to get a clearer idea of which art course to take. Please see details below. The Classes as previously outlined will now start in January 2018.

Carnegie  Art Classes with Ida Mitrani

This workshop introduces the participant to visual thinking, various techniques and materials used in creating an artwork.

Participants will explore drawing and painting with graphite pencils, charcoals and acrylics through various exercises. The work accomplished during the session will give a better understanding of the skills needed and will help you decide which of the follow on courses you prefer.

Follow on eight week course/s will start at the Carnegie Theatre on January 16th 2018

Materials will be provided on the night except for brushes. Participants are asked to bring a mixed set of brushes for use with acrylic paints.
