The Heights by Lisa McGee and performed by Pobalscoil Inbhear Sceine Drama Group.

Directed and produced by Larry and Oonagh Comerford

In The Heights, Lisa McGee explores what it is to grow up in a working-class estate. Beneath the concrete tower blocks, teenagers become characters in the surreal world of a housebound storyteller. As the lines blur between drama and narration, fiction and reality, the audience is left doubting everything that happens on stage. Shining darkly through the shadows is the humour, and often eviscerating language of the youthful characters who live in The Heights.

The cast are 5th year and transition year students  and the  Stage Manager and back stage crew  are TY students.
